The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) along with the Hockey Northwestern Ontario (HNO) and Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) are pleased to announce the launch of a new training module for team officials, to support trans-inclusive hockey in Ontario, Understanding Discrimination based on Gender Identity and Gender Expression.
These two online modules will need to be completed by all bench staff (Coaches, Trainers, and Managers) registered within the Northern Ontario Hockey Association before they can be approved on a team roster in the 2017-2018 Season.
There is no cost to completing the two online modules.
Team volunteers (all bench staff – coaches, trainers and on ice assistants) already assigned to a team are required to complete these modules by October 1, 2017.

Your last chance to register for the 2017/18 Season is happening at the Kirkland Lake Community Complex August 2nd, from 6 PM – 8 PM.
See attached PDF for fee breakdown. Please note that any registrations after this date will incur an additional $50 late fee per player.
Registration is open to girls and boys, ages 4 and older.
Players aged 4-6 will join the Kirkland Lake Timbits Rotary Tykes program which is designed to help the newest of newbie players, including those who haven’t learned to skate yet. The 2017/18 Timbit season is sponsored by The Rotary Club of Kirkland Lake, so there are no season fees for Timbit players. Complete your volunteer hours and sell your fundraising tickets and your season costs only $57!!
You can pay, in full, cash or cheque. OR, to help with costs, you do have the OPTION to pay with post dated cheques. If you choose to split up your payments, please date your cheques for: Aug 2 , Sep 1 & 15, Oct 1 & 15, Nov 1 & 15, 2017 (seven cheques, in total). If purchasing new equipment for this season, we encourage you to purchase in KLMHA team colour: RED. Lee O’Reilly (KLMHA Equipment Manager) will be on hand at registration with some special offers on pants, gloves and helmet and will be taking measurements to ensure a great fit.
